HAIR EXTENSIONS

  • SEW-INS

A sew-in is a hair extension installation method where the natural hair is cornrowed into a braided foundation and then wefts of hair are sewn onto the braids using a needle and thread. A very minimal amount of your natural edges and section where you intend to wear your part is left out to cover the tracks.

A net is often added over the braids before sewing the extensions on to increase the longevity of the style, create a more seamless flow of track placement, and protect your natural hair from breakage.

A sew-in is a timeless install that women have loved for decades and is recommended for most hair types. However if you have extremely fine or thin hair especially in the crown or edges it is not suggested to get a sew in, as this may cause tension on any existing weak strands.

A sew-in can last up to 12 weeks. We recommend bi weekly cleansing and removal at the 12-week marker.

  • WIGS

A wig install is a hair extension installation method where the natural hair is cornrowed into a braided foundation and then the wig is attached to the hair using wig combs, sewing the unit onto the braids using a needle and thread, or a hybrid of both methods.

A nylon stocking wig cap is often added over the braids before sewing the extensions on to increase the longevity of the style and protect your natural hair from breakage. A very minimal amount of your natural edges may be left out depending on the closure type of the wig (full frontal, closure, u-part)

We offer and install Brazilian and Indian lace front wigs, hair closures, and frontals. Our wigs can be custom-made to get the exact look you desire— a great option if you want to “test drive” a new cut or color before committing.

With proper care a wig installation can last up to 4 weeks before it should be removed and reinstalled.
